One bedroom, two bath partial ocean view fifth floor condo. This property sits along the ocean which is ideal for walking, windsurfing, kite surfing, and paddle boarding. A couple of minutes away from Kamaole Beach I, one of the great beaches on the sunny South shore. Air conditioning in living room and bedroom. Features 2 TVs, air conditioning, queen bed and a sofa sleeper + extra daybed! Remodeled kitchen and bathrooms!
Property features beautifully manicured grounds, tennis courts, putting green, shuffle board, exercise room, sauna, Jacuzzi, large pool and Gas BBQ grills.

  My experience was wonderful. The picture on the computer does not do justice to what you really see when you go out on to the lanai. Beautiful and serene. It is a comfortable place to sleep. I loved the rocking swivel chair. Everything worked. Very clean. It was close to a lot of things. Really with in walking distance of a swap meet place, food truck park, stores fast food if you wanted even the post office. I am looking forward to coming back.

  This was my fourth year at the Maui Sunset. Reasonable price, great Kihei location, and beautiful grounds bring me back. Each unit has been individually owned and managed by Kumulani. The variety, age and condition of furniture, linens, and housewares varies, depending on the owner. All in all, my annual monthly stays have been great. And the sunsets are storybook beautiful.

  The general property was pristine and well maintained. We enjoyed cooking in most of the time with a well equipped kitchen and Costco near the airport. The amenities were enjoyable, particularly the pool, tennis courts, and being able to walk right out onto the beach from where we were staying. We enjoyed a luau located at Olowalu Plantation House on a private estate recommended by the concierge located on site at Maui Sunset. It is a nice contrast to the luaus at the large resorts. We also enjoyed a dinner cruise out of Lahaina Harbor that she recommended. Day trips Hana and Haleakala were beautiful sites to behold. So much to see and do while on the island. It was a great time of renewal and rest.

  Wendi, with Kumulani Vacations was so wonderful to work with! She helped us find a good unit at Maui Sunset for our family vacation. The location was very good and made it easy to explore Maui. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and updated. We liked being on the top floor with a fantastic view. The grounds and pool were clean and tidy. The only negative I'd say was that the furnishings in our unit (504b) were dated. Hopefully that unit will get some new furnishings and decor to match the kitchen and baths. Otherwise a great place!   My husband & I stayed for one week while our home in Kihei was being painted. This condo was very nice and quite clean. The grounds are beautiful. There are many outdoor activities one can do w/o leaving the property. Wonderful ocean view from the B side of The Maui Sunset. Great sunset viewing. Inside #504B was clean and stocked with starter supplies. The 2 bathrooms are a big plus. Wendi, from Kumulani Vacations was very helpful and answered any inquiries quickly. I will definitely recommend this condo!

  The location of the place was slightly out of our way because most of our activities were in Lahaina and we had to drive everywhere. That said, you pretty much need a car to go anywhere in Maui anyway so this was a wonderful and affordable rental that offered a clean and relaxing stay. Everything was well equipped and staff responded quickly to any questions I had. I would definitely come back again.

  Maui Sunset is a very well maintained property. This unit is comfortable and well supplied with amenities, but has not been updated like others in the complex. I was there for an extended stay, and management was excellent (Wendy).
