We are on the beach side and not across the street at this location. the grounds are spectacular. we have friends that own in Kihei and they always come to our place instead of the other way round. BBQ spotless , not a leaf out of place. great pool& hot tub. great view of the bay.

  The Maui Sunset never disappoints. This unit has great views and we enjoyed a sunset dinner every evening. The unit was well equipped with beach accessories and cooking tools. The pool is great. We were there for kiteboarding and were able to kite at the beach in front of the hotel for most of our stay. The grounds are immaculate. The in room laundry is great as it means we do not have to pack as much. We always stay at the Maui Sunset and are never disappointed.

  This was our 2nd year staying in the Maui Sunset and it was absolutely fantastic. The weather was perfect everyday and we had a wonderful time. The unit was clean and well maintained except for the washing machine which was hard to operate and should be replaced. The location is perfect, close to all our shopping needs as well as a lovely pool, hot tub and grounds. We cooked almost all our meals in the unit and had a well stocked kitchen. The water was great no need to buy bottled water. We would highly recommend the Maui Sunset to all our friends and relatives.

  We came to this Maui Sunset property two years ago, but in a different condo. We love the place, the view the condo setup itself. Everything one would need for a stay in this condo as well as another where we stayed. We certainly would recommend it, and have done that in the past with friends who stayed here. This time we had a few issues, but nothing that would hinder us from staying again. One was the air conditioner in the bedroom being quite noisy. Hard to figure out just how it worked the best. The other thing was that the ceiling in dining area had obviously had a leak in the past and when we got more rain, it began leaking quite a lot.

  I was very pleased with Kumulani's care and maintenance of this condo. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless, and management took care to stock the unit with plenty of staples and amenities. This is our 4th visit to the Maui Sunset property. It is beautiful and well maintained, and we will certainly return. The Kumulani staff was very helpful in accommodating our schedule and assisting us with extending our stay. One caveat with Unit 412B: it is located immediately opposite of the trash chute. We found this to be convenient; others may find it noisy and distracting, as noise is audible from the bedroom. Overall, we were very happy with Maui Sunset, this unit and Kumulani's service. Aloha!
