Maui Sunset 221B

Unit B221 is a nicely done 2 bedroom/2 bath condo on the 2nd floor of the South wing of the Maui Sunset. Great location in the property! New living room furniture, dinning table, & 55" TV along with other accessories. There is a queen bed in the master bedroom and two new double beds in the guest bedroom with a new queen-sized sofa-bed in the living room, so up to 6 people can sleep comfortably. Fully kitchen with washer/dryer, complimentary wifi, bamboo flooring, air-conditioning in the master bedroom, guest bedroom, and living room. All the comforts of home!

Good walking, windsurfing, kitesurfing beach fronts this oceanfront condo complex in North Kihei. A couple of minutes away from Kamaole Beach I, one of the great beaches on the sunny South shore.

  Our condo was clean,beds were comfortable. Outdoor chairs are very uncomfortable, the space could use hooks on backs of doors to hang towels etc.has only four coffee mugs. Be nice to have more comfortable beach chairs.

  Trois belles semaines à Maui ou nous avons loué un condo au Maui sunset. Beau condo, bien équipé grand balcon pres des épiceries, restaurants etc . La plage est cependant petite en avant du condo mais il y a plein de grande plage tout près. De toute façon Maui n’est pas une grosse île il est facile de se déplacer un peu partout.

  We have stayed in various condos at the Maui Sunset for years, often renting through Kumulani Vacations. Kumulani offers great service and is there on the spot if there is any problem. This unit was perfect for a family of four, clean and well-equipped. It is in a great location: close to the pool, yet has a wonderful ocean view. We would happily return here and probably will.

  We've rented through Kumulani for several years because they are friendly and always provide good customer service. We've stayed at Maui Sunset seve ral times and enjoy the property for its plentiful green space, ocean views and magnificent sunsets. The property is well maintained and the guests are respectful of the quiet hours. We prefer the end units as there is not as much foot traffic outside the bedrooms. The furniture in this unit was comfortable and clean and we appreciated the hard surface floors from a cleanliness aspect. It does, however, critically lack adequate lighting throughout. There were no blankets so we purchased one and Kumulani offered to reimburse us. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return to Maui Sunset again.

  221B is a nice big upgraded condo. Very comfortable for 4 people. Great views from the lanai. Really appreciated the laundry facilities and beach chairs. Particularly appreciated checking out a little late, so we could move over to 504B early. Thanks for letting us do that.

  I think Maui sunset is the best place to stay in South Maui. Property is very clean and comfortable, Garden and pool area are also clean and I think perfect for overall. One minor thing I found is the parking lot on B side is too small or too many cars in the parking lot. One night after we came back after dinner, we couldn't find a place to park.

  Condo was excellent as well as the grounds and pool area. Did not care to have a park adjoining our grounds...lots of people with dogs and hanging out. 1st day there were locals fighting and drinking during the day right beside the condo. Also, beach not good for swimming.

  We have stayed at the Maui Sunset Property 8 times over the last 15 years. This unit we just stayed in had very little furniture and inadequate lighting. We also had a few light bulbs out but when I spoke to the gal at the check in desk she said that wasn't her job. The unit could really use a coat of paint as well.

  We enjoyed the layout of the condo and the furniture quality was great. I would have liked to see the fridge a little cleaner before we got there, as we had to give it a good wipe down before putting our food in there. The view was fantastic. We saw some whales from our lanai a few times (it was getting towards the end of whale season).
